Mapping and modeling shade in urban spaces

Dr. Arie Rosenfeld presented his talk on Mapping and modeling shade in urban spaces using GIS and remote sensing techniques, at the "Urban shade in Israel" professional conference, which was held at the Design Museum, Holon, Israel. In his talk Dr. Rosenfeld demonstrated the use of high resolution aerial orthophoto to measure shade from different objects and the use of high resolution  3D models from LIDAR and DSM to model shade and changes in shade over the day and over the year.
